The Gallery at Bird in Hand is presenting an epic Tuscan style degustation lunch over the Adelaide HiIls Wine Region’s Winter Reds festival.
On the weekend of 28th-29th July, thousands of wine lovers will flock to the Adelaide Hills to take refuge from the cold and enjoy great food, fine wine and good times with friends and family.
‘A Taste of Tuscany‘ at The Gallery is a seasonal degustation, paired with rare back vintage wines from the Bird in Hand portfolio.
Evoking a rustic Tuscan winter feast, the degustation menu features a number of seasonal dishes with many ingredients foraged from the Bird in Hand gardens and surrounds. Chef Ben Fenwick will be creating a menu including whipped taleggio with white truffle, wild boar ragu and charcoal-grilled beef florentine.
Chief winemaker Kym Milne MW has selected wines from the Bird in Hand portfolio to match each dish, including rarely released museum vintages, and the Italian collection.
Price per person is $170 including all food and wine and booking is essential. Flight Club members receive 20% discount on the meal. Making a booking here or for further information please contact hospitality@birdinhand.com.au or telephone 08 8389 9488.
In addition to the Tuscan degustation meal, in the barrel hall at Bird in Hand, wine lovers can enjoy open fires, live music and a 12-hour slow cooked beef brisket accompanied by their favourite glass of red. Bookings recommended.
