Jeremy Scott premier

Red carpet favourites like Victoria Justice pulled out all the beauty stops for fashion designer Jeremy Scott’s New York City movie premiere “Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer” during the height of New York Fashion Week, hosted by Australian Winemaker of the Year Bird in Hand Winery, which took place at the legendary Paris Theatre just off of Central Park with an equally racy after party at hotspot Provocateur. When you’re a major designer like Jeremy Scott who hangs out with powerhouse celebs like Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, you can afford to take a pause from fashion week for a movie premiere and still have a star-studded red carpet. For the NYC premiere of his biopic, celeb fans like Victoria Justice and Olivia Culpo and so many more brought out their best beauty looks. Vlad Yudin’s documentary “Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer,” scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on Sept. 18, could hardly have come at a better time, given Scott’s current pop-culture profile, which includes a high-profile makeover of MTV’s Video Music Awards’ Moonman statuette and news that he’s collaborated with Madonna for some of the costumes on her upcoming tour. Scott cements pop-culture legacy alongside Katy Perry at documentary premiere. The 108-minute film focuses heavily on the run-up to Scott’s debut runway show for Italian luxury brand Moschino in February 2014. Using interviews with Scott, his family, celebrity friends and fashion industry heavyweights, it sketches out a career arc that starts with his square-peg-meets-round-hole childhood in Kansas City, Mo., and reaches a high point when he dresses Katy Perry for the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show in February 2015. “It’s F-U-N — that’s it, that’s all it is,” says ASAP Rocky at the beginning of the documentary. “Jeremy is just a big kid with a wild imagination.” What follows is a cavalcade of celebrity testimonials from the likes of Perry, who appears extensively throughout the documentary (she’s also the face of the fall and winter 2015 Moschino campaign), entertainers Miley Cyrus, CL and Rita Ora and costume designer Arianne Phillips. Bird in Hand was proud to debut it’s D&B Rose, Sparkling Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Shiraz and at New York Fashion Week and sponsor Scott’s must-see documentary and stunning after event. Arrivals included actress Bella Thorne, Paris Hilton, Jeremy Scott, Nicky Hilton, actress Olivia Culpo, actress Victoria Justice, Model Stella Maxwell, Model Jessica Hart, AnnaSophia Robb, actress-model Cody Horn, DJ Leigh Lezark, Suki Waterhouse, Mercedes Masohn and Mini Andren of Chuck Verses The Cat Squad, Orange is the New Black star Taryn Manning, Sita Abellan, Audrina Partidge, Kaya Stewart, actress Theodora Woolley, Lilly Englert, Ashley Smith, Karen Buglisi Weiler, Paulina Cho, Abbey Lee, model Abbey Lee Kershaw, Leven Rambin, Edwin Mejia, Vanessa Hudgens, Vashtie Kola, Susanne Bartsch, A.J.
