Bruna Papandrea partnership

Spartina restaurant in West Hollywood was the location for the recent launch of Bird in Hand in Los Angeles, in partnership with Adelaide-born film producer Bruna Papandrea, who was celebrating the birth of her new development, production and finance company, Made Up Stories.

Guests included Michelle Pfeiffer and her husband David E Kelly, actors Nicholas Hoult and Australian’s own Isla Fisher, Gia Coppola, and members of the cast of the Papandrea produced, ‘Big Little Lies’, Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kravitz. They enjoyed an intimate dinner at Spartina restaurant in West Hollywood, with wines from across the Bird in Hand portfolio including the 2010 Nest Egg Joy, 2013 Nest Egg Shiraz and 2017 Bird in Hand Sparkling Pinot Noir Rosé, accompanying the meal of California influenced Italian dishes.

Founder of Bird in Hand, Andrew Nugent, who attended the launch commented: “Wines from the Adelaide Hills can sit at the quality pinnacle of world production. To show them around the world is a great pleasure, particularly with other South Australians. Bruna and her success is a wonderful example of creative achievement that we are so proud of.”
